Bang & Olufsen introduces the new Beoplay EX true wireless headphones that play in the big leagues at an elite price.
Bang & Olufsen is a high-end audio specialist that has been offering true wireless headphones for a long time, but the design of these accessories, which is quite monolithic, is not for everyone. Now the company has decided to make a difference with the introduction of Beoplay EX.

These are the first earphones from the brand to offer an Apple AirPods-style design with a small tail, and according to him, their fit in the ear should also be improved with smaller tips. Whether you find them nicer than AirPods or not is entirely subjective, but with color options in black, black and blue, or gold, there’s more choice than the Apple brand anyway.
It’s still too early to tell if the “superior sound”claimed by B&O is still there. However, the design of these Beoplay EX headphones allows for the integration of 9.2mm drivers – the brand’s largest to date – that provide more power than previous models. B&O also boasts improved phone call quality and Bluetooth 5.2 support.

And yes, you’ll also have all the features we’re now entitled to expect from these headphones: Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), water and dust resistance (IP57), two-way device pairing at the same time, and a wireless charging compatible case. B&O announces six hours of listening time with ANC activated and a total of 20 hours of listening time thanks to the built-in battery.
As you know, unfortunately, where the catch is in the price. Bang & Olufsen is offering their Beoplay EX headphones for $399. The price, which is entirely in line with older models like the Beoplay EQ, is well above the Apple AirPods Pro, not to mention other comparable headphones like the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 or the Sony WF-1000XM4. Either way, these B&O headphones can grab your attention and your ears if you like the brand’s quality sound and minimalist design.
