Vivo X Fold design officially confirmed ahead of April 11 launch in China

Vivo has officially revealed the X Fold design in China. The company will unveil its first foldable smartphone in China next month. At an event on April 11, the company confirmed the launch of the X Fold and Vivo Pad. The company is also expected to release the rumored X Note smartphone. Vivo also showed off the design of the Vivo Pad.

A couple of weeks before the launch, the company unveiled the official design of the X Fold. The foldable smartphone will have a folding mechanism similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Let’s take a look at the design, specifications, features and other details of the Vivo X Fold.

Vivo X Fold will be the company’s first smartphone to launch in China on April 11. The foldable smartphone is expected to hit other markets soon. Ahead of the launch, Vivo has confirmed the design of the device. The foldable phone screen has a cutout at the top center of the right side. Vivo has not yet officially confirmed the size of the display. According to rumors, the device will be equipped with an 8-inch folding screen with QHD + resolution. It will also support a 120Hz refresh rate.

The outer screen is curved and has a notch at the top center of the screen. The height of the display on the lid is rumored to be 6.53 inches. It will have Full HD+ resolution, but there is no official word yet about high refresh rate support.

At the back, on top of the textured panel, is a huge rectangular block. On this block is a round camera module that houses a four-camera setup. Images confirm the inclusion of a periscope lens. The foldable phone is rumored to feature a 50MP main camera and a 48MP ultra-wide camera. It will also feature a 12MP portrait camera with 2x zoom and an 8MP sensor with support for 5x zoom.

The design images also show that the foldable phone has the power and volume keys on the right edge. There is also a warning slider on the left side of the frame. Other leaked details include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, a 4,600mAh battery, and support for 80W fast charging, 50W wireless charging.
