Honor X8 is a premium smartphone at an entry-level price.

Usually until a few years ago, the entry-to-mid-range smartphone offering was rather boring, or at least redundant in terms of device design and functionality. Everything is starting to change today. A good example is the recently launched Honor X8, a smartphone that looks like a flagship at first glance but comes at a very, very affordable retail price.

As you can see in the image above, the Honor X8 has nice thin bezels around the screen. And although these are just renders, it must be admitted that the edges in question are thinner than those currently found in more expensive models. The device also has a 6.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels and a hole for the front camera.

Under the hood of the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip, of course, not the most powerful to date, but more than capable in everyday tasks. This phone also comes with 6GB of RAM, as well as Honor RAM Turbo technology, which the manufacturer claims boosts the package to 8GB when the need arises.

Otherwise, we note in particular the presence of a quad-sensor camera module on the back with a 64 MP main sensor, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2 MP macro sensor and a 2 MP sensor. for bokeh effect. Finally, the device will be powered by a 4000mAh battery, a battery compatible with 22.5W recharge power.

For now, Honor only offers its X8 in the UAE and Saudi Arabia for AED 899, or around $245/£185/€220. Let’s hope he comes to France.
