Sometimes your inbox gets overwhelmed with a lot of messages from a person. In this case, you can reply to each message separately. To do this, simply follow the steps below.
- Launch the Instagram mobile app or go to https://instagram.com/ and sign in to your account.
- Go to your DMs.
- Open the chat of the user you want to reply to.
- Now, to reply to a specific post among many, just tap on the post and swipe on it, Instagram will select the post and you can now reply to it individually.
- If you don’t get the slide feature, you can also click the arrow button below the post.
- Write your answer and click Submit.
- If you don’t see the option to reply to a particular post, go to your Instagram settings, tap Refresh Posts, and try again.
How to enable disappearing mode in messages?
Last year, Instagram introduced fade mode to its app. As soon as you activate Disappear Mode, the Meta-owned application will enable your chat window’s incognito mode. It will neither record nor save a backup of your chat with the user. All messages sent in Disappear mode will disappear when the chat ends.
You can enable Fade Mode on Instagram by following the steps below.
- Launch the Instagram app and go to your DMs.
- Open your inbox and simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
- This will turn on disappear mode in your chat.
- To disable Fade Mode, simply swipe up again from the bottom and it will be disabled.
