Instagram is developing a voice response option for Stories. This will make interacting with Stories even easier.
Instagram is constantly working to improve the user experience. This includes bug fixes, various optimizations, improvements to existing features, and of course, adding new features. For example, it will soon be possible to reply to Stories with voice messages.
Instagram is developing the ability to respond to Stories by voice
Instagram recently introduced the ability to leave personal likes, an interesting additional way to interact with Stories. It looks like the company wants to add another option to react to these ephemeral clips and images from the accounts we follow.
Indeed, according to developer Alessandro Paluzzi, known for digging through app source codes to uncover hidden features, Instagram is currently working on a variant that will allow its users to send voice messages in response to Stories. Alessandro Paluzzi even shared a screenshot of the interface dedicated to this feature.

Engadget contacted Instagram about this issue, but no comment has been made at the time of this writing. If this feature can really be very useful in everyday life for many users, all the functionality tested by the platform will not be deployed in a proper and proper way and available to the general public. When Instagram introduced personal likes for stories, the company explained that its main motivation was to cut down on incoming messages. Adding the ability to send voice messages would rather defeat this goal, but could further simplify an operation that is already possible in the app.
In any case, this feature is still in very limited development or testing at best. It is impossible to know if this option will be offered to the general public, much less when. Those who are interested will have to wait.
