Motorola Edge 30 with 144Hz pOLED display, Snapdragon 778G+, 50MP triple camera launched: price, specifications

The Motorola Edge 30 was launched as the second phone in the Edge 30 series. The flagship smartphone Edge 30 Pro was released a couple of months ago. The Vanilla Edge 30 is the successor to the Edge 20 from 2021 and is a new mid-range offering from Motorola.

Edge 30 is also the first Snapdragon 778G+ processor and one of the most elegant devices in its segment. Some of the other key features include a 144Hz screen refresh rate, 50MP main and ultrawide cameras, up to 8GB of RAM, and support for 33W fast charging. Motorola Edge 30: price and availability

The Edge 30 starts at $361 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and $387 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The phone will go on sale starting May 19 on Flipkart and Reliance Digital. Starter offer includes $26 instant discount with HDFC Bank credit card. It will be available in Meteor Gray and Aurora Green.

Motorola Edge 30 Specifications and Features

In terms of camera, the Edge 30 offers a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP 118-degree ultra-wide camera that doubles as a macro sensor. Finally, it also features a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP front camera sensor. The rear camera also supports 4K video recording. The phone is powered by a 4020mAh battery paired with 33W fast charging. The device runs Android 12 out of the box. The company has already promised three years of security updates and Android 13 and 14 updates for the device.

Other features include under-display fingerprint reader, IP52 rating, 5G connectivity (up to 6GHz), 6.79mm thickness, 155g weight, Adreno 642L GPU, Wi-Fi 6E, Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers (Snapdragon Sound)), Bluetooth 5.2, Thinkshield mobile security and NFC.
