Asus Vivobook and Zenbook laptops with OLED display and Nvidia GPU: specifications, features

Asus announced several new laptops at The Pinnacle of Performance last night. The brand has announced several Zenbook Pro, Zenbook S, Vivobook S and Vivobook 13 Slate OLED series laptops.

Asus has been a pioneer when it comes to OLED screens for its laptops, and it’s no surprise that all of the recently launched ZenBook and VivoBook series laptops come with OLED screens, up to 17-inch displays, a lightweight design, a choice of NVIDIA GPUs, and more.. Let’s take a look at the specs and features of all new products from Asus.

Asus Vivobook Pro Series

The 16-inch and 15.6-inch models feature a 120Hz display with 3.2K and 2.8K resolutions, respectively. The latest Vivobook Pro models offer a Thunderbolt 4 or USB 4 port and HDMI 2.1, as well as USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 ports, an SD Express 7.0 microSD card reader, a LAN port and WiFi 6E. Finally, the Pro Series is equipped with a 90Wh battery and US military-grade reliability.

Vivobook S series

1.6 kg, all-metal construction. The laptops feature up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 12700H or AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processors, Intel Iris Xe/AMD Radeon graphics, 16GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD.

The Vivobook S series offers OLED panels with resolutions up to 4K and refresh rates up to 120Hz. In terms of I/O, you get a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C or USB4 port and an HDMI 2.1 port.

Vivobook 13 Slate OLED

Asus also released a limited edition Vivobook 13 Slate OLED Philip Colbert Edition and Steven Harrington Editions 2-in-1 laptops designed by renowned artists. They feature themed hardware, accessories and packaging. The device is equipped with a 13.3-inch OLED display with a detachable design.

Asus Zenbook Pro 16X OLED

The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is the latest flagship device from Asus, crafted from aerospace-grade 6000 series aluminum alloy and measuring just 16.9mm thin. It uses a 12th generation Intel Core i9 12900H processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. It uses the new Asus IceCool Pro cooling system, and the 96Wh battery is rated for up to 10 hours.

In addition, the device is equipped with a 16-inch 4K OLED HDR 60Hz display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, support for Dolby Vision and a touch screen.

Asus Zenbook Pro 14/15 Duo OLED

The latest Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED features a 14.5-inch 2.8K 120Hz OLED display with Dolby Vision support. It features a 12.7-inch secondary tilting ScreenPad Plus touchscreen. The laptop is powered by up to 12th generation Intel Core i9 12900H processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. There is also a larger Zenbook Pro 15 Duo OLED with a 15.6-inch screen and GeForce RTX 3060 laptop GPU.

Asus Zenbook Pro Series

The Zenbook Pro series includes the new 15.6-inch Pro 15 Flip OLED and Pro 17 convertible laptop, the first 17.3-inch Zenbook. The 15-inch model is equipped with up to 12th generation Core i7 processor and Intel Arc A370M discrete graphics. It offers a 2.8K OLED touchscreen at 120Hz. The 17-inch model features a 2.5K resolution IPS Dolby Vision touchscreen, an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 GPU.

Asus Zenbook S series

Finally, the Zenbook S series offers two new 13.3-inch laptops. First up is the Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED convertible, weighing 1.1kg and 14.9mm wide, equipped with up to 12th Gen Core i7 processor and 67Wh battery.

This is followed by the 14.9mm Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED, which weighs 1kg and features an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor with AMD Radeon 680M graphics, up to 19 hours of battery backup, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and USB-C ports.

Asus has yet to announce pricing for all of the aforementioned devices. For now, these machines will only be available on global markets.
