Samsung Galaxy A13 4G, Galaxy A23 4G with 50 MP main camera and 5000 mAh battery announced: price, specifications

Samsung has unveiled two new Galaxy A series smartphones. The company has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A13 4G along with the Galaxy A23 4G. Budget smartphones come with four cameras on the back. They also have an octa-core processor under the hood.

Samsung Galaxy A13 4G Price

Samsung has yet to announce official pricing information for the Galaxy A13 4G. The report claims that the phone will cost 190 euros. For the price, users get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a 4GB + 128GB variant priced at €210. It will be launched in multiple storage options in different markets. The company also announced variants with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

Samsung has released the Galaxy A23 4G with three RAM options. The base model will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone was also launched with 6GB and 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. There is no official price information. Samsung introduced both devices in four colors – peach, white, blue and black.

Specifications and features

Both phones are identical with some differences here and there. On the back is a quad-camera setup. Samsung has released phones with a 50-megapixel main camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The device is also equipped with a 5 MP ultra wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. In addition to this, the phone has two 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro photography. For selfies, the phone has an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.3 aperture.

The front camera is housed inside the waterdrop notch. The screen has slightly thick bezels, especially the chin. Both phones feature a 6.6-inch Full HD+ 1080 x 2408 pixel LCD screen. The screen has standard 60Hz refresh rate support and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.

Under the hood of the Galaxy A13 is an octa-core processor with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz. Samsung did not mention the name of the processor in its press release. The phone is reportedly powered by Exynos 850 chipset. The SoC has up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The Galaxy A23 has a 2.4GHz octa-core processor that could be an Exynos 1200 SoC.

The phones have a 5000 mAh battery. A13 4G supports 15W fast charging while A23 4G supports 25W fast charging. Both phones weigh 195 grams and run One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 out of the box.
