Realme is reportedly working on expanding its number series portfolio. Yes, you read it right. The company has already released as many as five Realme 9 series smartphones. These include the 9i, 9 5G, 9 SE 5G, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro+. Another smartphone has joined the latest series of Realme numbers. According to a new report from 91Mobiles, Realme will release a smartphone under its number sometime in April 2022.

Realme 9 Series Smartphone with 108MP Camera
The Realme 9 series will expand next month with the release of a new smartphone with a 108MP main camera sensor. The device will be the first in the 9 series and the second overall in the Realme number series to feature a 108MP camera sensor. Realme 8 Pro is the brand’s first device to launch with a 108MP main camera under the series number. The 9i currently has a 50MP camera, while the 9 SE 5G and 9 5G have a 48MP sensor. The 9 Pro has a 64MP main camera, while the 9 Pro+ 5G has a 50MP Sony IMX766 camera with OIS support. The upcoming 9 Series smartphone will be the only one in the series to feature a 108MP primary camera.
The exact name of the upcoming Realme 9 series smartphone is unknown. This device can be called Realme 9 SuperZoom. The company previously used the SuperZoom moniker on its X3 series to highlight the device’s camera features and capabilities.
In addition to the main camera at 108 megapixels, there will be two more sensors on the back. Details about these two sensors remain unknown at this time.
