The Quarry, the new teen horror game from Supermassive Games

David Arquette (“Scream”), Ariel Winter (“Contemporary Family”), Justice Smith (“Jurassic World”), Brenda Song (“Dollface”), Lance Henriksen (“Aliens”) or even Lin Shaye (“Nightmare on Elm Street) will star in a spiritual sequel to Before Dawn.

The leaders of the Hackett’s Quarry holiday camp have an unexpectedly nightmarish night as the last party without adults and children allowed some rules to be broken. Jokes and flirting give way to life-and-death decisions as they are pursued by bloody people and something much more sinister. If all characters can become heroes of the night or die before dawn, each choice will affect the story through many intertwined possibilities.

The Quarry launches June 10 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). This new license will feature multiplayer mode (local and online for up to seven players) and cinema mode (drunken browsing and random selection).

“As an interactive storytelling experience, The Quarry is a completely different type of game than what we’ve been able to bring to the market in the past,”said David Ismailer, president of 2K. “We chose to partner with Supermassive Games because they are simply the best in the business and we are big fans of the studio. The opportunity to work with one of the greatest creative minds in the industry is rare and we are thrilled to be part of the adventure for The Quarry together.” Will Biles, director of Supermassive Games, adds: “The Quarry once again innovates in interactive storytelling and technology to create a truly visceral teen horror experience. I can’t wait to see what choices you make, who you save, and who you’re willing to sacrifice! “
