The affordable Realme GT 2 flagship phone is coming to India soon. The phone’s arrival in India was teased during the Realme GT 2 Pro launch in India a couple of weeks ago. The Realme GT 2 series was launched first in China and then in February 2022, the phones made their global debut at Mobile World Congress 2022.
The company will also unveil the Realme GT Neo 3 in India on April 29 as part of an offline event. While the company has yet to confirm a launch date for the GT 2, the device could arrive soon. A new tweet from popular whistleblower Mukul Sharma revealed the device’s RAM, storage and color options ahead of launch. The base model Realme GT 2 will be available in three color options and two RAM and storage combinations. Let’s take a closer look at the phone’s specs and expected launch date.

According to Mukul, Realme GT 2 will be available in two configurations. The base variant will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The top model will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of color options, the device is said to be available in Paper White, Steel Black, and Paper Green color options.

The Realme GT 2 features a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display at 120Hz. Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is powered by a 5000mAh rechargeable battery with support for 65W fast charging.
In terms of camera, the phone features a triple camera on the back with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, you get a 16-megapixel front camera. The phone runs Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. The GT 2 is 8.6mm thick and weighs 199 grams. While the company has yet to confirm a launch date, the phone could arrive in India on April 29 alongside the GT Neo 3.
