Micromax IN 2 specs leak, expected to ship with Helio G88 SoC, 90Hz display, and more

Micromax recently released a new budget smartphone. The IN Note 2 was released for under $200 with an AMOLED display. It also comes with a triple camera on the back. Another Micromax smartphone coming soon is the Micromax IN 2. The device will be released as the successor to the IN 1 series.

There is no official launch date yet. Meanwhile, key specs and features of the upcoming budget smartphone have been leaked online. Micromax is said to release a device with a 90Hz display. Let’s take a look at the Micromax IN 2 specs, features and other key details.

Micromax IN 2 specifications leaked

Micromax has yet to officially confirm the launch of the IN 2. However, the specs and features of the device have been leaked online even before its launch. A Twitter user has posted the full specification of the device. According to the leaked spec sheet, the phone will come with a 6.5-inch display. As it will be a budget offering, the phone will feature an IPS LCD. The screen is also said to support a 90Hz refresh rate and offer Full HD+ resolution.

There will be a triple camera on the back. The phone will have a 48MP primary camera sensor. It will be accompanied by two 2MP sensors, one of which could be a macro lens. For selfies and video calls, there will be an 8-megapixel front camera sensor.

As expected, the device will have a polycarbonate back panel. It is said that its price ranges from $133 to $145. The device will be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. Micromax is also reported to offer 18W fast charging support for the device. It will be powered by MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. The same chipset is used in Redmi 10 Prime and Infinix Hot 11S. There is currently no word on RAM and storage options. However, we can expect Micromax to offer at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There will be support for a microSD card for memory expansion.
