40 TikTok Comment Ideas (Don’t Buy Them)

You can go to TikTok to watch dance numbers or popular pranks, but be honest: you’re staying for comments. Admit it!

You are not alone. As one article on Medium puts it: “ Now comments are the best part of TikTok. ”

The social media app has millions of new videos uploaded every day, and with every piece of content, there is a new opportunity for users to react, join, leave, connect, joke around, or just be weird. This is a wonderful thing.

All of this to say that creating funny TikTok videos should only be part of your brand’s social marketing strategy. To truly connect with the TikTok audience, you need to get into the trenches – i.e. the comment section – and take part in this wild and wonderful ecosystem of comments.

On TikTok, great comments are an art.

Popular TikTok comments can garner hundreds of thousands of likes, and those who do well develop their own fans. They are not just an afterthought. Each one is a chance to impress your audience and show that your brand can be fun, smart and authentic.

Does anyone know if I delete their TikTok comment?

If you delete a comment from one of your TikTok videos, the author will not receive a notification. This is our little secret! Unless, of course, they come back to admire their handicraft or check other users’ reactions to a comment and notice that it’s gone.

2. Select Remove. Now he’s gone! Let’s never talk about it again.

Should you buy TikTok comments?

Listen: the internet is full of sellers who will be happy to sell you comments on your videos. But, as my barber tells me, whenever I demand a mushroom cut after a breakup, just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.

Trust us. We ourselves tried to buy TikTok comments and it was a real failure. The bots or mercenaries that chat in the comments section will never become true ambassadors for your brand or buy your products or services, and they certainly won’t give you any insight into your true customer. base.

Your video may look like it made a terrific impression on the casual observer, but ultimately you won’t gain anything from such deception. It’s better to have a few real people commenting than a bunch of meaningless noise.

What is the best TikTok comment?

Phew, what a question. It’s like asking “what was the best sunset”or “who’s your favorite kid”or “what sauce do you want for your pizza crusts”? Is there a definitive answer at all?

Of course, TikTok collects data on top comment trends. Currently, general comments include:

  • “POV you’re here before it goes viral”
  • “running in the comments”
  • “part 2”
  • “My respect for the person who is watching this video.”

We could also try to answer this pressing question by looking at individual success stories. One of the most popular comments of all time, with 1.5 million likes, is a video asking the viewer to take a break.

Pause your scrolling. Time for a night time snack break!

The viral comment is pure insolence: “You are right, you are right. *scrolls*”

But forget those numbers! Forget about these studies! The best comment has always been inside you! Because a really good comment is one that actually engages with the video they’re commenting on and showcases your brand’s voice.

TikTok comments not showing up? Here’s what to do.

If your TikTok video seems suspiciously quiet, try troubleshooting.

Double check comment permissions

Go to settings, click “Privacy”and then “Comments”to double-check who has permission to comment. If “No one”is selected… fix it!

Restart or reinstall the TikTok app.

Perhaps there are comments, but the application itself is simply buggy. Try closing and reopening the app, or logging out and back in again. Bad luck? Uninstall TikTok and reinstall to see if that helps.

Check for TikTok crashes and internet connection issues.

Maybe a problem with the server? We spit here! Visit a third party site like Down Detector to see if other users have experienced the same issue. It could also be a connection issue, so check how well your Wi-Fi or cellular data is working.

Clear your TikTok cache

The cache stores temporary data for the TikTok app, but sometimes this data gets corrupted. To clear it and start over, fire up TikTok and go to your profile.

  1. Tap the three-line icon in the top right corner, and then tap Settings & Privacy.
  2. Scroll down to the “Cache and Cellular Data”section.
  3. Click “clear cache”.

Consider the possibility of being blocked

If it’s just your own comment that doesn’t appear in another account’s video, it may have been filtered. The account owner may block certain words or may require all comments to be reviewed before posting. What you said?!
