When the Apple Watch Series 7 was released last year, it became the first Apple Watch with fast-charging capability, halving the lengthy 2.5-hour charge time compared to previous generations. I marked this as my favorite feature in my review, and that’s because not only did it speed up charging from zero to 100, it also made quick tugs on the charger much more efficient. For example, just 45 minutes of charging took the Series 7 from zero to 80 percent. This helped me a lot to make sure the watch didn’t die right before I was about to go for a run or go to bed.
We’ve already recommended the Apple 3-in-1 charger from Belkin. The previous version without fast charging for Apple Watch made our list of the best iPhone 12 accessories with a sleek, modern design and a compact, efficient design. The newest version looks identical, hiding important changes inside. It’s never been the cheapest option, selling for $150, but the build quality and versatility back then added value, as the addition of Apple Watch fast charging now does it at no extra cost.
