Sony Pictures Entertainment is in a deal with Netflix through PlayStation Productions to produce a TV series based on the Horizon license from Guerilla Games.
The series adaptation of Horizon on the streaming platform Netflix is only at the beginning of its development. The license is set in a post-apocalyptic United States populated by robotic creatures called Machines of various sizes and scales. Horizon: Zero Dawn follows an ambitious and intelligent yet outcast hunter named Aloy as she seeks to uncover her past and find meaning in her life.

Horizon is another PlayStation Productions project that currently has The Last of Us on HBO, God of War on Amazon Prime Video, and Twisted Metal on Peacock. The upcoming film adaptations also include the film Ghost of Tsushima and Gran Turismo, which in principle will be accompanied by a series.
