The OnePlus 10 Pro was launched in China earlier this year and a couple of months later it was also launched in India and some global markets. Going further, the company is expected to launch only one flagship device from the OnePlus 10 series in 2022. It could be the OnePlus 10 or the OnePlus 10T. ‘
Although the final marketing name of the device is unknown at the moment, tipster Yogesh Brar revealed in a tweet that OnePlus’ upcoming upper mid-range smartphone with the CPH2413 will be better for gaming compared to the OnePlus 10 Pro. Exclusively revealed details of the upcoming OnePlus device with model number CPH2413.
OnePlus 10/10T could be the best phone for gaming?
In a tweet, Yogesh confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus smartphone based on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is averaging 57fps on Genshin Impact with extreme settings at 43 to 46°C. On the other hand, the OnePlus 10 Pro with the same settings delivers 55fps at 45-49°C.
While the in-game fps between the two devices seem to have a difference of 2, what’s more impressive is that the upcoming OnePlus device has managed to stay a bit cool compared to the 10 Pro. For those who are not in the know, Genshin Impact is a popular game that requires a lot of memory and resources on your phone. Since more resources are used during games, any phone often gets hot. It looks like the new Snapdragon SoC has improved performance as well as thermal management.
