Redmi K50i Indian Variant Passes BIS Certification, Launch Imminent

Xiaomi Redmi recently launched the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+ phones in China. The Redmi Note 11T Pro is said to be launched as the Redmi K50i in India and as the Poco X4 GT globally. While Note 11T Pro could be released as Redmi K50i Pro in India and as Poco X4 GT Pro in global markets. Now an Indian variant of the phone with model number 22041216I has been found in the BIS database, thanks to whistleblower Mukul Sharma.

According to information provided by Katzper Skshipek, the phone with model number 22041216I should be Redmi K50i. Since the phone has appeared in the BIS database, we can expect it to hit the Indian market soon. Let’s take a look at the specs, features and price of the Redmi Note 11T Pro.

The Note 11T Pro offers a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 650 nits peak brightness and Dolby Vision support. The display panel on the phone has a cutout in the center.

Under the hood, the Note 11T Pro has a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 octa-core processor paired with a Mali G610 GPU. The Dimensity 8100 is the flagship processor that powers several affordable flagships such as the OnePlus 10R, Realme GT Neo 3, Oppo K10, and Redmi K50.

The system-on-a-chip has up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage. The phone boots MIUI 13 based on Android 12. The Note 11T Pro packs a 4400mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.

The Note 11T Pro offers a triple rear camera setup including a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. It features a 16-megapixel camera on the front for video calls and selfies.
