Minecraft The Wild Update comes out on June 7th and brings a lot of new features!
Minecraft is a video game with endless possibilities. The players know this well, as do the developers, for that matter. Updates follow each other and are not similar to each other, constantly adding new features. There is something for every taste. Today, fans are looking forward to the next big update, dubbed The Wild Update. And we finally have a date. Soon!
Minecraft The Wild Update Coming June 7th
It’s been a few months, but the Minecraft The Wild update is almost here. Mojang and Microsoft have decided to release The Wild Update on all platforms on June 7th. And all promises must be kept. This new version adds two biomes, a mangrove and a “deep darkness”that hides scary monsters like the Squealer and Guardian, as well as special resources. It will also be possible to take a boat with a chest so as not to throw anything when crossing the lake.
The update also adds a mud block (made of mud and water, of course), a community-selected mob picker (alley), and a frog that evolves from a simple tadpole. It even offers a special animation if it attacks magma.
And a lot of new!
This update comes long after Mojang had to completely rethink its expansion strategy. The deep dark biome was originally planned to arrive in 2021, but it ended up in The Wild Update as the developer struggled with the size of their big two-part Caves and Cliffs update.
While it’s no surprise that the Minecraft team wants to keep their game relevant more than a decade after launch, this planning suggests that the studio is still committed to keeping its players happy. And that’s good, right? See you in a few days to discover and take advantage of all these new features.
