Pencil Pro is a handy add-on that makes it easy to pair and use your Apple Pencil 2 with a compatible iPad. From what we can gather, the two main functional benefits of the tweak include the following:
- Connect your new Apple Pencil 2 to your iPad by simply attaching it to the magnet on the side
- Using the Apple Pencil 2 to perform finger-only actions and gestures, such as launching the Control Center or interacting with notifications, to name but a few.
The Apple Pencil 2 is already a handy accessory for compatible iPads thanks to the precision it provides for tasks like drawing and writing, but with the addition of easier pairing and more gesture support, it could be an even more powerful tool for users.
Pencil Pro is available as a free download from PoomSmart’s personal repository and supports jailbroken iPads running iPadOS 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. The tweak’s source code is also fully open on the developer’s GitHub page.
