The Poco F4 5G has been launched in India following a series of social media teasers over the past few weeks. This is the latest Poco F series smartphone. The Poco F4 5G was launched in India and the Poco X4 GT joined the global launch today. The Poco X4 GT is expected to launch in India as the Redmi K50i in the next few weeks.

Poco F4 5G: availability and offers
The Poco F4 5G will go on sale in India from June 27th and the phone will be available on Flipkart. It will be available in Nebula Green and Night Black color options. As for launch deals, you can get instant discount up to Rs 3,000 with SBI credit card, Rs 1,000 prepaid offer and an additional Rs 3,000 discount on exchange.
Poco F4 5G: specifications and features
The Poco F4 5G features a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 gamma, 1300 nits brightness, 360Hz sampling rate, and for the first time in the Poco F4 offers support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. In addition to the screen, the device is equipped with two Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers, making it a great entertainment companion.
In terms of cameras, the Poco F4 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP (f/1.79) main sensor with OIS and EIS support. It is accompanied by an 8 MP (f/2.2) ultra wide-angle lens and a 2 MP (f/2.4) macro lens. On the front, the phone supports a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
It is powered by a 4500mAh rechargeable battery with support for 67W fast charging, which can charge the device up to 50% in 11 minutes. In terms of design, the Poco smartphone is square in shape, 7.7mm thick and weighs 195 grams. The device is equipped with Corning Gorilla Galas protection. Other features include 10 band 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Android 12 based on MIUI 13, IP53 rating, and Poco 4.0 launcher.

The Poco F4 5G will compete with the Iqoo Neo 6, which also features the same display and SoC. Even the camera specs on paper are identical on the two phones. However, the Neo 6 offers a 4700mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging. The base variant of the Poco F4 will compete against the OnePlus Nord CE 2 as well as the Realme 9 Pro+ which offers the best camera for around Rs 25,000.
