Rollerdrome: a new kind of TPS in the original retrofuturistic universe

Private Division and Roll7 have announced Rollerdrome, a third-person shooter that combines frenetic combat with rollerblading acrobatics.

In 2023, the rollerdrome will become a fashionable sport. Monstrously, it blurs the line between reality and spectacle as contestants are selected to compete against the House’s formidable players in a series of blitzkriegs where the goal is to score the most points by combining eliminations with mind-blowing stunts and facing a long series of challenges. As rookie Kara Hassan hopes to become the next champion, she will also have to uncover the secrets surrounding the evil tech giant.

Rollerdrome will be available on August 16 on PS5, PS4 and PC (Steam). Some rumors indicate that a new license from London-based studio Roll7 could be offered to Extra or Premium subscribers of the PlayStation Plus offer.
