Sam Bankman-Fried could give $1 billion to face Donald Trump in next presidential election

Sam Bankman-Fried is willing to donate $1 billion to defeat Donald Trump in 2024. This could be one of the largest donations in the history of American politics.

Donald Trump’s mandate from 2017 to 2021 has not only made people happy. If the businessman failed to achieve a second term, he did not stop saying that he would run for the next presidential election. And there seems to be a fierce resistance going on. This is especially true for Sam Bankman-Fried, the CEO of the FTX exchange.

Sam Bankman-Fried ready to donate $1 billion to defeat Donald Trump in 2024

Sam Bankman-Fried has thus explicitly hinted that he is ready to donate a billion dollars to prevent Donald Trump from winning the next presidential election. The FTX CEO backed Joe Biden during the 2020 campaign, predicting he will spend over $100 million ahead of the 2024 campaign, but told The Pushkin Industries podcast, “It really depends on what’s going on. It’s really going to have to be seen who shows up where and for what, and all those things are very hard to predict.”

Sam Bankman-Fried, who has been on the list of the richest people in recent years, was one of Joe Biden’s biggest contributors during the presidential campaign, along with such giants as Bloomberg and Alphabet.

This could be one of the largest donations in American political history.

If Donald Trump really ran and Sam Bankman-Fried made such a donation, it would be one of the largest donations in the history of American politics. It is also interesting to know the reasons that are especially close to the heart of the FTX CEO and, apparently, one of the most important topics for him would be preventing the next pandemic.

Of course, other motives for such a donation cannot be ignored as the United States is currently trying to decide how it can regulate digital assets.
