ColorOS 12 Beta and Stable Update Released: List of Supported Devices, Release Schedule, and More

ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 was announced back in October 2021. Ever since the new version update was announced, the company has been busy releasing the update to its smartphones. Oppo has now announced the list of devices that qualify for both the beta and the stable.

One device is eligible for the Android 12 beta, and five phones are eligible for the stable version of ColorOS 12 based on Android 12. Two A series phones, two Reno series phones, and one K series device are eligible for the stable version. update, and one F-series device should receive a beta update this month.   2. Oppo Reno 7 Z 5G (from June 23)

The stable version will be released in batches and it will take a few days for all users to get the update. To check for the latest updates on your Oppo phone, you can open the Settings app and check for software updates.

With ColorOS 12, Oppo has also announced some changes to the device update cycle. Oppo Find X series devices will also be eligible for three Android updates. The company is also promising two Android updates for the Reno and F series devices. Finally, the A series entry-level and budget phones will receive one major Android update. Other phones released after 2019 are eligible for three major Android updates for devices released after 2019.
