Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Trailer Announces Return of The Next Generation Cast

Paramount has unveiled the trailer for the third season of Star Trek: Picard, a sneak peek at the cast of The Next Generation.

Comic-Con is always the event of choice, both for fans and various players in the industry. This allows, in particular, to present future productions. Some of them are obviously more expected than others. And the least we can say is that the smallest bit of information about such and such a creation is dissected along, in breadth and across. During San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, Star Trek: Picard was in the spotlight thanks to a trailer for its third and final season.

Paramount has released the trailer for the third season of Star Trek: Picard.

So Paramount has shared a new trailer for the third season of Star Trek: Picard. And while we already know that Picard’s Last Adventure will reunite Patrick Stewart and most of the main cast of The Next Generation, it’s nice to see some characters we haven’t seen in a while. Released by Paramount, this one-minute clip features voice-overs from virtually every character in Season 3 of Picard, including LeVar Burton, Gates McFadden, and Michael Dorn. In terms of content, there isn’t much for fans to sink their teeth into what Paramount offered last April, but at least this time we can see the former USS Enterprise crew in their new uniforms.

The opportunity to get acquainted with the cast of the “New Generation”.

That’s not the only interesting Star Trek information that was revealed during this Comic-Con. Paramount also announced that the second season of Strange New Worlds will feature a crossover with Lower Decks. Jonathan Frakes will direct the episode, which will consist of a combination of live and animated episodes. Tony Newsom and Jack Quaid will also return to voice Beckett Mariner and Brad Bauimler. The second season of Strange New Worlds doesn’t have a release date yet, but Star Trek fans can already mark August 25, the launch date for the new season of Lower Decks. Paramount has also shared a new trailer for this animated series so you can watch it until the end if you’re a Deep Space Nine fan.
