EVO 2022: 20 years of one of the most important FGC tournaments in the world

Sony Interactive Entertainment plans to celebrate the return of the Evolution Championship Series with the PlayStation Tournaments: EVO Lounge event.

Hosted by players and commentators who live and breathe the heart of the Fighting Game Community (FGC), and hosted by Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation: EVO Lounge Tournaments will feature quality coverage, news of all EVO 2022 competitions, interviews and insights from developers and publishers such as Arc System Works, Warner Bros Games, Capcom, SNK and Bandai Namco Entertainment plus all the news from the competitive esports scene.

Let the games kick off with PlayStation Tournaments: Evo Lounge live, featuring the biggest fights, player interviews, developer guests and more. It takes place on 5 and 6 August.

Champions of the fighting game community have proven themselves with EVO for 20 years.

Competitive streams will run throughout the weekend, as well as streams for publishers and developers.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, Guilty Gear -Strive-, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Tekken 7, The King of Fighters XV, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, Dragonball FighterZ, Granblue Fantasy: Versus and Skullgirls: 2nd Encore will be featured at EVO 2022. in Las Vegas from 5 to 7 August.
