With the recent release of the Sumeru v3.0 update, several new materials and resources have been added to Genshin Impact. This includes a wide range of local specialties from the Sumeru region. One of these dishes includes padisara, which can be used in several cooking recipes. These foods include Sumeru’s special tahchin and biryani, which require the Padisara plant. Where to get Padisar in Genshin Impact (location)
Since it is a local delicacy, you can get this ingredient from the three districts of the Sumeru region. But first you need to make sure that the region is unlocked. You can unlock the Sumeru region by completing Chapter II: Act IV and reaching at least Adventure Rank 35. In addition, you can buy a maximum of 5 padir specializations from the NPC, Jute. Each Padisar costs 1000 Mora.
But if you want to get it from the Sumeru region, here’s where you’ll find them:
Vanarana Region
You will find most of this local delicacy in the Wanaran region. If you have already unlocked it, you can travel there using the local transporter or teleport directly. Heading there, you can collect some of these ingredients in the north of the region. You will find most of Padisar located south of this region.

Sumeru City
Similar to the Wanaran region, you will find this ingredient scattered throughout the city of Sumeru. There are also several padisars scattered outside the city. So don’t forget to collect them all to prepare delicious meals.

Palace of the Alcazarsaray
The Alkazarzaray Palace is a sub-region located west of the Sumeru region in the Lokapal Jungle. Although you will find a couple of padisars outside, you will find most of them inside the palace.

Padisara recipes
As mentioned earlier, you can use padisara to make tahchin and biryani. Here is the recipe for both of them:
- Biryani: rice x4, raw meat x3, spices x2 and padisara x1
- Takhchin: x4 rice, x2 birds, x2 fish and x1 padisars.
