Genshin Impact: Next Major Update Coming August 24th

Genshin Impact 3.0 will release on August 24th. New region, new fighters and more. And a studio that has a lot of ongoing projects.

Among the most popular multiplayer games at the moment, we can easily name Genshin Impact, an action RPG developed by miHoYo, released in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Windows, Android and iOS, and then in 2021 for PlayStation 5. A lot of players still looking forward to further updates. The next major version is coming very soon.

Genshin Impact 3.0 will be released on August 24th

Indeed, the highly anticipated version 3.0 of Genshin Impact will arrive in just over a week, on August 24th to be exact. Hoyovers announced this. Called Morning Brings a Thousand Roses, the update will add a new rainforest and desert-themed region to explore, as well as a host of new characters, including several five-star fighters to find. Collie, one of the newcomers on the list, will be available for free during the upcoming Graven Innocence event. And, as you might expect, 3.0 will continue the main story.

New region, new fighters and more

Hoyoverse has shared a lengthy trailer describing quite accurately what said update has to offer. The studio also announced that the next three Genshin Impact updates will arrive just five weeks apart. In other words, expect new updates around September 28th, November 22nd, and December 7th, respectively. The last update is dated July 13th.

And a studio that has a lot of projects in the works

The new content in Genshin Impact is just one of the many projects Hoyoverse is currently working on. A few months ago, the studio announced Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail. None of these games have a release date yet, but Hoyoverse started the beta testing phase first in early August.
