Apple TV+ has certainly made a name for itself since its launch, especially with shows like The Morning Show, For All Mankind, Severance, and, of course, Ted Lasso. But in this age of “content”there is never too much to see. That’s why there’s a whole slew of new series to premiere for Apple’s video streaming service in September.
As usual, on Fridays, Apple introduces new shows and movies. Nothing has changed this month and we will see new premieres every Friday in September. So, without delay, let’s take a look at what’s coming this September for Apple TV+.
New shows and movies coming to Apple TV+ in September
September 2
Ella’s life
This is another family series that will debut on Apple TV+. The film stars Lily Brooks O’Bryant (“Tick”), as well as Artion Celestine (“Harlem”) and Vanessa Carrasco (“Irreplaceable You”). Here is the official description from Apple TV+:
Ella returns to school with a whole new perspective, excitement about what the future holds for her, and a mindset to seize the day. Together with her best friend, she is ready to deal with everything she was too afraid of before and is determined not to let the little things of fake friends and social media status distract her.
This new series for the whole family will debut on Friday, September 2, 2022.
9th of September
Brave
Based on the book The Book of Fearless Women written by Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, this upcoming documentary series will take viewers on a visual journey plucked from the pages of the book. Both Clintons will travel across the United States to speak with a variety of women, including activists, everyday heroes, artists and community leaders.

The Clintons have been joined by a number of outstanding, brave and resilient women who have made an impact in their community and the world, including Kim Kardashian, Megan T Stallion, Dr. Jane Goodall, Gloria Steinem, Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, Goldie. Hawn, Kate Hudson and many others.
The new documentary series premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday, September 9, 2022.
central park
This is not a new series, but the premiere of a new season. Central Park is an animated musical comedy featuring the voices of Leslie Odom Jr., Josh Gad, David Diggs, Kathryn Hahn, Stanley Tucci and many more.
The third season premiered on Friday, September 9, 2022.

Sago Mini Friends
This is for young children who want to learn and have fun. The stars of Sago Mini Friends are voiced by Ian Ho, Liam McKenna, Claire Poon and Christina Churchill. The story revolves around Harvey (voiced by Ho) who loves to have fun.

Sago Mini Friends will premiere on Friday, September 16, 2022.

Sydney
This documentary follows Hollywood legend and activist Sidney Poitier. The inspiring story is brought to life by producer Oprah Winfrey and director Reginald Hudlin. The film will explore the legacy of Poitier, who sadly passed away on January 6 this year.

Produced by Oprah Winfrey and directed by Reginald Hudlin, this candid documentary focuses on the legendary Sidney Poitier and his legacy as an iconic actor, filmmaker and activist at the center of Hollywood and the Civil Rights Movement. The film was also produced by Derick Murray in close collaboration with the Poitier family.

The Greatest Beer Run
In this upcoming film based on a true story, Zac Efron (Neighbours, Baywatch) stars as Chica, who decides to take a pretty epic beer escape to Vietnam. During the Vietnam War. Chiki just wants to support his friends fighting overseas and that’s how he decides to do it.

Start riding with Otis
Another children’s series, Get Rolling With Otis, debuts its second season this month. This show stars the voice of Griffin Robert Faulkner as Otis, Kathy Grober as Celeste, Josiah Gaffney as Louie, and Elliott Fullam as Sal, among others.
There are many talking animals in the show and, of course, the talking Otis tractor. Here’s how Apple describes the family series:

wolfboy and the factory of everything
This family-friendly series features the voice acting talents of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Archie Yates, Cassian Akhtar and Lilly Williams. Gordon-Levitt is also an executive producer on the project. This “great fantasy adventure”is a great tool to help teach kids about empathy, according to Apple’s landing page for the series.
