As you may already know, customers who pre-order the game will also receive two days of early access to MW2’s open beta sessions, as well as access to special character and weapon skins. And if you decide to hack the Vault Edition, you’ll also be eligible for the first season battle pass, as well as characters and cosmetics available in the open beta, Warzone, and even a remake of the original Modern Warfare.

Activision is also promising to provide more details about its MW2 and the next Warzone (including the new mobile version) during its Call of Duty license event on September 15th. However, early access to the single player campaign shows the company’s priorities. While this one is still working on advancing the game’s story, this latest release will serve more as a foundation for a new multiplayer experience.

Special event on September 15 will tell more

Either way, it’s a very promising game, as fans of the franchise and others have come to expect. See you on September 15th for more details about the game and dive into it at the end of October!
