Netflix cancels Resident Evil series

Resident Evil has been canceled by streaming platform Netflix after just one season.

In the shadow of the fourth season of Stranger Things, the Resident Evil-licensed series launched in second place on Netflix with 72.7 million hours watched. In its second week, Resident Evil didn’t see the big splash you’d expect from a new series when word of the word spreads. The series hit 73.3 million hours watched in its second week and peaked at number three before plummeting and falling out of the top 10 after only three weeks.

Although Resident Evil is not ongoing, Netflix can look forward to several successes such as Stranger Things, Arcane, The Witcher, The Umbrella Academy, Shadow and Bone, Vikings: Valhalla, Sweet Tooth, Black Mirror and the last one, The Sandman, which was a real hit. and should be renewed soon to continue attracting audiences.
