T-Mobile, which bills itself as a “non-operator,”offers its customers many special perks. Especially those who save money for the most expensive (and popular) Magenta MAX plan. This includes bundling streaming services into the mix, like Netflix. And now it also includes Apple’s own video streaming service.
T-Mobile today announced that Magenta MAX customers will get Apple TV+ bundled with their data plan at no additional cost. It’s a $4.99 per month perk, as Apple TV+ usually costs for individual users. It’s certainly not the most expensive streaming plan, but getting it for free as a bundle is a great perk.
According to today’s press release:
Magenta MAX customers love streaming. So of course we give them more of what they love because that’s what a non-carrier does,” said Mike Sievert, CEO of T-Mobile. “It’s steps like these—giving customers more without asking for more—that have made T-Mobile the value leader in wireless communications. Now that 5G has won the most awards in America, T-Mobile customers don’t have to choose between the best value for money and a great network.
All of this comes into effect on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. And, as noted above, this special privilege is available to Magenta MAX clients. But regular Magenta customers do not stand aside. T-Mobile today confirmed that Magenta customers can get Apple TV+ for free for six months.
