Netflix gift cards worth €25 or €50 (most common) can be used to pay for a Netflix subscription or given as gifts. You can buy them in different stores and online.
Just know that these gift cards do not expire – this is expressly stated on the back of each card. They are non-refundable. After verifying your account, you can watch Netflix as long as your card balance allows. They are also not refillable.
How to use a Netflix gift card
Redeeming a Netflix gift card is very easy. Just go to netflix.com/redeem, scratch the silver foil on the back of the card to find the code. In the case of a digital gift card, the code is included in the email, and if you have a receipt, the code is on the receipt.
Then enter the code on the page and click the “Redeem”button. Then enter the email address associated with your account, or the one that will be used to create a new account. Then a confirmation screen will appear.
You can also redeem multiple gift cards at netflix.com/redeem. The amount of each card used will be added to the available balance. It’s even possible to use a card from another country, as long as it’s in the same currency as the one used to bill Netflix.
Note: The balance of your gift card is credited to your account and the next payment will be taken from this balance. A reminder will be sent by email 7 days before the balance is depleted.
How to check the balance of a gift card
Once you have the code for the specified gift card, go to netflix.com/redeem and enter it where required. Click the “Redeem”button, the balance will be displayed on the next screen.
If you don’t have another payment method, you can watch Netflix until the gift card runs out. To continue watching Netflix, please add another gift card or payment method before your balance runs out. If you cancel your account, you can continue watching Netflix until your gift card balance is depleted.
After redeeming a gift card, you can view your available balance at any time on the Payment Details page.
