Update Apple MagSafe Charger Firmware
Apple has released a firmware update. So what’s all the fuss about? Well, aside from bug fixes and minor updates, people are speculating that the software is tweaked to optimize the charger to make it compatible with a number of devices, including the recently released iPhone 14 and AirPods Pro (2nd generation).

There is no option to download and install firmware updates manually. Unlike iOS updates, you won’t receive MagSafe alerts in your iPhone’s settings.
iPhone automatically downloads software updates for MagSafe chargers whenever they are connected and the MagSafe charger is connected to a power source. So it’s best to leave your iPhone to charge overnight.

While there is no reliable way to download a firmware update, there is a way to find out what firmware version and model number your MagSafe charger is. But before you continue, make sure the MagSafe charger is connected to your iPhone and connected to a power source.
Just go to Settings → General → About → Apple MagSafe Charger. Here you will be able to see your MagSafe charger model number and firmware version.
If you want to know if you have the latest MagSafe charger firmware, you should see MagSafe charger firmware 255.0.0.0 instead of 247.0.0.0.
