American comedian Jared Leto will play in a biopic about former fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld.
The Karl Lagerfeld biopic will be co-produced by Jared Leto and his partner Emma Ludbrook through their production company Paradox, with assistance from the House of Karl Lagerfeld. Kaiser confidants Pier Paolo Righi, Caroline Lebar and Sébastien Jondeau will executive produce the film. For over 35 years, Caroline Lebar has worked closely with the great German couturier and stylist as a consultant on his brand and personal communication, and Pier Paolo Righi has been CEO of the House of Karl Lagerfeld for over a decade. Sébastien Jondeau has been the designer’s personal assistant and bodyguard for 20 years and today continues his collaboration with the brand as a style advisor.

The exact plot of the biopic about Karl Lagerfeld remains confidential, but the film will highlight the main events of Lagerfeld’s life, told through an unpredictable prism, like the man himself. Now the producers are negotiating with famous directors.
