Overwatch 2: The Best Heroes to Play with Kiriko

Kiriko is a powerful support that makes a perfect match for some heroes in Overwatch 2. While you can unlock her, you won’t be able to rank her just yet. But the good thing is that you can use it in unranked mode to practice these combinations while waiting for it to become available in competitive mode. So in this guide, let’s take a look at the best heroes to play alongside Kiriko in Overwatch 2.

The 3 Best Heroes to Play with Kiriko in Overwatch 2

Here are 3 heroes from each role that would work great with Kiriko in OW2.

  • Roadhog for the tank
  • Soldier 76 for damage
  • Ana for support

Roadhog

Roadhog is an unusual tank in the game when compared to other heroes of this class. While he may have a good amount of health, he has no defensive abilities and is also one of the slowest tanks in the game. But this is where Kiriko comes into play. Thanks to her healing abilities, Roadhog players can play more aggressively and focus on killing.

Since it is a slow tank, it is easy to catch and control. But thanks to Kiriko’s Suzu Defense, the duo are able to counter Roadhog’s CC. Lastly, her Ultimate Kitsune Rush is a great support ability. This path increases the movement and attack speed of all allies on it. And they are the perfect match for the perfect Roadhog. He can use Whole Hog and get that burst of movement and attack that will allow him to target and take out more enemies.

Alternatively, Kiriko works best with D.Va when it comes to tanks.

Soldier 76 is the best hero to play with Kiriko

This is the perfect duo of support and damage. The reason for this is because Soldier 76 also has a healing ability, while Kiriko receives higher critical damage from his kunai. So both of them can switch roles and become a very dominant duo. This is because both are able to heal each other during combat. Soldier 76 can also use his sprint and flank the enemy. And in order for the flank to be successful, Kiriko needs to teleport to him with Quick Step.

But their true potential is revealed when their ultimates are combined. Soldier 76’s ultimate is the Tactical Visor, which is essentially an aimbot for any enemies in his line of sight. So when you add extra damage, more attack speed and Kiriko’s movement buff from Kitsune Rush. Any enemy that was previously able to run is now even less likely to get away.

If you don’t like Soldier 76, you can always use Tracer instead of Kiriko.

Ana

You might be wondering why a support hero needs another support. Well, that’s true to an extent, but thankfully, Kiriko works as a Damage character in a lot of ways. So while this may seem like an odd combo, it’s something you can actually pull off if played right. Unlike the previous two cases where Kiriko was mainly a support, in this case, Ana can play the role.

One of the best combos you can get is Ana’s Sleep Dart with Kiriko’s Kunai. As the name suggests, Sleep Dart puts the target to sleep, now all Kiriko has to do is headshot the sleeping target twice with his kunai. If the target is low on HP, it can easily kill it. You can also pair Ana’s Nano Boost with Kiriko’s Kitsune Rush while Kiriko uses his kunai to attack enemies. As such, there are several combos that can help you kill, or at least deal enough damage so that your teammates can finish off the enemy.

You can also play Lucio with Kiriko if Ana doesn’t suit you.

That covers this guide on the best heroes to play alongside Kiriko in Overwatch 2.
