Paramount has released a new trailer for the final season of Star Trek: Picard. This all sounds absolutely crazy!
This weekend was New York Con. A great opportunity for Paramount to share the new trailer for the final season of Star Trek: Picard. After the already-released trailers, which played the nostalgia card heavily for the return of the main cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation, the latest one to date offers an overview of the story of the third season. And judging by those few seconds, Picard’s ending must be crazy.
Paramount has released a new trailer for the final season of Star Trek: Picard.
The video begins with Starfleet facing a brand new threat in the form of an alien ship dubbed the Shrike. The sequel is very funny: several scenes in which we see Admiral Jean-Luc Picard recruit his old friends, some of whom are very unhappy about returning to duty, to meet the villain played by Pulp Fiction’s Amanda Plummer.
There’s something funny about seeing characters like Worf change in the last years of their lives out of the blue. Even more surprising are the two cameos at the end of this trailer: Daniel Davis again as the holographic Professor Moriarty and Brent Spiner, who plays Data’s demonic android twin, Lore.

Along with this new trailer for Star Trek: Picard, Paramount also shared new clips for Discovery Season 5 and a mid-season trailer for The Prodigy. This will arrive on October 27th, while for the first one we will have to wait until next year, without further details.
Meanwhile, the final season of Star Trek: Picard will be available from February 16, 2023. Until then, Star Trek fans will have to wait.
