Sony has decided to expand its presence beyond the PlayStation consoles. This implies, on the one hand, an invasion of the mobile device market, and on the other hand, porting some of their games to PC. And the least we can say is that the Japanese giant has an extensive catalog from which to draw information. PC gamers will be able to (re)discover Sackboy very soon.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure has joined the fast-growing list of PlayStation games that Sony has decided to bring to PC. The PS5 launcher game (which is also available on PS4) will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store starting October 27th.

Sony also indicates that the PC version will be 4K compatible, should run at 120fps, and offer a variable refresh rate. You can also explore Craftworld in ultra-wide format as many screen ratios are supported, up to 21:9. Those with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card will even qualify for a performance boost with DLSS2. Haptic feedback and dynamic triggers will also be enabled if you have a DualSense controller. You can, if you like, play with keyboard and mouse.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure also doesn’t require a big machine to run. You will need at least an Intel Core i5-6400 or AMD FX-6300 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R7 265 graphics card, 8 GB of RAM and 60 GB of storage.

Either way, autumn promises to be a very busy one for PlayStation when it comes to PC video games. The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is coming to Steam and the Epic Games Store on October 19, while Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to PC later this year.
