When you come across such locked doors, you will notice that there is a slime statue next to them. To open this locked door, determine what type of slime is carved into the statue. For example, the statue in the image above is a striped slime. To open the gate, you will need to shoot the striped Plort in the Statue’s mouth. Keep in mind that no other Plort will do the job other than a Slime Plort carved in the shape of a Statue. One Plort of a correctly identified Slime will do the job and open the door to Slime Rancher 2. The locked gates undoubtedly contain a lot of loot, which can include a treasure pod containing an upgrade for your Vacpack.
