Your goal should be to play more salmon with friends or in the same random lobby. The higher the counter, the more likely it is to appear after the next few runs. Once it’s full, the next Salmon Run will spawn King Salmon.
Although there is a catch here, even if the meter is full, the king salmon will only appear when you complete all three waves. If you fail to complete all three waves, you will miss the meeting.
How to deal with king salmon
You can fight King Salmon Cohozuna using both your weapon and the Egg Canon.
- Using the Egg Canon: You can use the golden eggs you collect while running to shoot Cohozuna. They are useful as they take away some of his HP.
- Weapon Attack: While you are waiting for the golden egg, you must keep attacking the king salmon with your weapon. They do normal damage, but will help you lower his health.
