Splatoon 3: How to play Salmon Run

Continuing the legacy of its predecessors, Splatoon 3 didn’t let players down. In addition to story campaigns, this game has other modes to help you have fun. Salmon Run is a cooperative multiplayer mode that was also available in Splatoon 3. This multiplayer mode is back in Splatoon 3 and Nintendo has made it more fun. How to unlock and play Salmon Run in Splatoon 3

Salmon Run is a four-player PvE game in which players must complete three waves. However, here is how to unlock and play the Salmon Run Next Wave mode in the game:

  • To unlock Salmon Run, you need to reach level 4. Also, reaching level 4 in Splatoon 3 isn’t that hard, as all you have to do is play a few matches.
  • Later, when you reach the fourth level, go to Grizzo and chat with Mr. Grizz. Also, complete the tutorial to unlock Salmon Run in Splatoon 3.
  • After that, you can play this mode with your friends. Invite them by entering Grizzco and pressing the L key.
  • Now at the bottom left of the screen on the sidebar of the match menu, select With Friends.
  • Alternatively, you can choose to play a Freelance Match or a Private Assignment Match with your friends.
  • Also, keep in mind that participating in a Private Quest match will not increase your rank.
  • After completing all three waves in the Salmon Escape mode, you will receive Grizz points, which can be exchanged for various rewards in Grizzo.
  • You also earn Catalog Points, which help you level up your Catalog in Splatoon 3.
  • Also, if you deal enough damage to the king salmon in Xtrawave, you can get valuable rewards like fish scales.
