What are Tricolor Battles in Splatoon 3
Tricolor Turf Battles are three-minute battle modes that can only be played during the second half of the Splafest events. But for these battles, the players are divided into three teams.
How to join the tricolor turf war
Follow these steps:
- Go to the lobby and press the L button. Scroll down and select the Tricolor Turf Battle option from the list.
- As mentioned earlier, the players will be divided into three teams. The winning team will be determined by the Splatfest break report.
- This is a three-minute combat mode that involves eight players.
- While the winning or leading team will have four players, the remaining two teams will have two players each.
- These teams need to get an Ultra Signal from the middle of the field.
- However, these teams can also splatter each other with ink or work together.
- Speaking of Ultra Signal, all teams must touch the beacon and secure it.
- If the other two teams don’t touch the beacon in time, it will activate the Doom Sprinkler.
- As the name suggests, this weapon can splatter ink all over the lawn.

- For each of the “Tricolor Battle”modes, two “Ultrasignal”beacons are provided.
