Ufotable has also worked on other video game related projects. For example, God Eater and Tales of Zestiria the X are two licenses owned by Bandai Namco. The concept trailer (discovered by IGN) offers us our first glimpse of the art direction Ufotable has taken for this game. As you might expect, the studio doesn’t seem to have deviated much from what it does.

In any case, it’s somewhat surprising that we had to wait too long to find out about the announcement of the official Genshin Impact anime. The developers of the game drew inspiration from many anime and the game seemed like the perfect anime adaptation.

An additional way for fans to enjoy the license

Many other popular games have had animated series in recent years. Cyberpunk 2077 has, for example, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners available on Netflix for a few days. Arcane, based on League of Legends, became the first streaming anime series to win an Emmy award earlier this month.

Information is currently very scarce.

Currently, no one knows when and where fans will be able to see this Genshin Impact anime. That being said, since the trailer only shows the concept and treats the collaboration with Ufotable as a long-term project, it could be a long time before we can discover the first season.

The announcement of this Genshin Impact anime right after miHoYo offered a preview of the 3.1 version of the game, which is currently scheduled for September 28th. This update will expand the new region of Sumeru and advance the main story of the game. Players will be able to discover King Deshret’s mausoleum, dungeons, new Archon quests, weapons, three playable characters, two new bosses, and more. In addition, miHoYo integrates a persistent card game mode in version 3.3.
