When you’re not listening to music, you may notice that the Now Playing widget of the Control Center shows the text “Not playing”in the top half.
While the text above is intended to inform the user that the media is not playing, some minimalists would prefer to do without the reminder. However, iOS developer Elio Fegali has released a new free jailbreak tweak called clear not play that removes this text from the interface.
As shown in the before (left) and after (right) screenshot examples above, the tweak can make the Control Center interface cleaner and less cluttered by removing the text element from the interface, which seems to rely mostly on glyphs for user interaction.
Without any options to configure, Clear Not Play fulfills its mission right after installation.
