How to get the mop in Return to Monkey Island
Go to the International Mojo House in the Low Street area and collect the Sharp Knife and the Frog of Forgiveness from there.
Read the plaque under the statue on Low Street. After that, head to the Scumm bar and chat with the chef in the kitchen. Ask the chef about buying a mop. After that, the cook will refuse to lend you a mop and ask you to make it yourself. Now go through the door on the right side of the kitchen and collect the rope.
Interact with Wally at his shop on Low Street and ask him to create a map to get the wood needed to build a mop. Next, Wally will ask you about the type of wood. Now you need to get Wally a piece of wood from the chef’s mop handle. Before you leave Wally’s shop, take the Monocle from his desk.
Interact with a customer at the bar who is angrily waiting for their meal. Then return to the chef and talk to him to find out what is causing the delay in serving food to this customer. Now help the chef get the ingredients from the book kept in the governor’s mansion.
