Apple Music Replay will be transformed by the end of 2022

Apple Music Replay is undergoing changes. Perfect for telling everyone what you’ve been listening to this year.

Apple Music users can now access a year-long recap of their listening through Apple Music Replay. Apple has completely redesigned its functionality to offer a much more complete experience, but perhaps not quite on the level of Spotify Wrapped.

For example, you can only access complete replay information online. The Apple Music mobile app only offers you a playlist of your most listened to songs. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see a section with a lot of information about your plays for the year, including the number of minutes you’ve spent listening to music, as well as your ranking by song, artist, album, and genre. Here are the top 10 songs, artists, and albums, as well as your top 5 playlists. You can also see if you are in the top 100 fans of a certain artist.

You can also share your statistics on social platforms or with your loved ones. The playback page in iOS has Share buttons, and if you click on them, the familiar Share window will appear. Curiously, Apple Music’s desktop web player doesn’t have these sharing buttons, making sharing difficult.

At the same time, Apple Music released its tops for the year, including the most shazamed songs of the year. Kid Laroy and Justin Bieber have the service’s most played song of 2022, “Stay,”while Bad Bunny’s “Un Verano Sin Ti”is Apple Music’s most played album this year. Hip-hop leads the top 100 songs with 32 songs, followed by pop (23), R&B/soul (11), Latin music (8) and J-Pop (6).
