Apple TV+ brings showbiz comedy with Seth Rogen

The new comedy, which Seth Rogen co-wrote, directed, executive produced and starred in, was commissioned by Apple TV+.

Written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who will also be directing and producing through Point Gray Pictures, as well as Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory and directed by Rogen and Goldberg, the as yet unnamed sitcom but with 30-minute episodes, for Apple TV+ will tell the story of the former Hollywood a film studio trying to survive in a world where art and commerce coexist more and more difficult.

Lionsgate Television is also involved in the production of this new comedy series starring Seth Rogen. Please note that Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory will also serve as showrunners, while Josh Fagen and Alex McAtee will also be executive producing and co-producing with Frida Perez.

Seth Rogen Worldwide Streaming

This is the latest original creation in Point Gray Pictures’ multi-platform deal with Lionsgate following the Emmy-nominated Disney+ film Pam & Tommy, which also stars Seth Rogen, and Jason Woliner’s upcoming Peacock series. In addition, Point Gray Pictures brings the hit series The Boys and its spin-offs to Amazon Prime Video, as well as the animated series Invincible and the upcoming Sausage Party. As an actor, Seth Rogen appears on the screen in Steven Spielberg’s Fabelmans.
