Does Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 have a hardcore mode? (Level 1 explanation)
The answer to that question is no, there is currently no hardcore mode in Modern Warfare 2. But according to his blog post, it will have a level 1 playlist. This mode will be hardcore for COD MW2. While it was supposed to be released at launch, it is not currently available in MW2. However, the silver lining is that Infinity Ward has tweeted that it will be available soon. While it’s a little unclear when it will launch, you can enjoy other game modes such as Prisoner Rescue, TDM, Knockout, and more.
Coming back to the level 1 playlist, it will be much more difficult than the traditional multiplayer mode. All operators will have comparatively less health and limited HUD elements. In addition, he will also have friendly fire enabled. So beware of random teammates who might shoot you just for fun. All of these elements will be featured in all game modes that support the Tier 1 playlist.
