There are over 51 weapons and 9 different weapon categories in COD Modern Warfare 2. You can apply various camouflage cosmetics to these weapons to use them against other players. In order to unlock these camouflage skins, you need to complete various camouflage challenges. Several players want to unlock the golden camo for their submachine guns in MW2. This includes the FSS Hurricane SMG which is widely used by several players in the community. However, these tasks may take a little time to complete. How to unlock golden FSS Hurricane in COD Modern Warfare 2
As mentioned earlier, there are various camo challenges to unlock camo skins in Modern Warfare 2. Before unlocking the Golden Camouflage Challenge, you need to complete all of the Basic Camouflage Challenges. There are four basic camouflage challenges and they are as follows:
- You need to get 50 kills with the FSS Hurricane.
- You need to get 50 kills when you equip or use a Suppressor with an FSS Hurricane.
- Get 50 kills while aiming down with the FSS Hurricane.
- Get 30 kills with the FSS Hurricane.
These challenges will unlock as you level up the FSS Hurricane. So, make sure you are at the maximum level. If you want to level up, the Invasion mode is a pretty quick way to get XP for simple weapons. While killing bots doesn’t count as a challenge, they can help you level up. You can use Dolphin Dive to get prunes. For Challenges 3 and 4, we suggest playing 6v6 modes. These include Hardpoint, Domination, and Kill Confirmed modes.

After you complete all the challenges with the base camo, you will unlock the gold camo challenge. For this final challenge, you need to get 3 kills without dying 10 times. Completing this task will unlock the golden camouflage for the FSS Hurricane.
