Callisto Protocol: how to skip cutscenes? (answered)

Callisto Protocol is a survival horror adventure game from Striking Distance Studios. You play as Jacob Lee stranded on the moon Callisto in 2320. While critical reviews are mixed, the storyline is gripping and engaging. If you want to speed up, maybe you need a skip button. But is it possible to skip videos in Callisto Protocol? Check out our guide to find out.

How to skip cutscenes in The Callisto Protocol

The answer to this question is no. Unfortunately, there is no way to skip cutscenes in Callisto’s protocol. This is because all cut scenes are real time scenes. The entire gameplay is divided into several real-time cutscenes.

As you progress through the game, you will notice a striking resemblance to other survival horror video games. These include games like Dead Space and Left 4 Dead. Like Dead Space, there are no loading screens in the various chapters. Also, there aren’t many long cutscenes to start with. So maybe you can still speed up the Callisto protocol.

However, players are quite disappointed as they have to watch these scenes over and over again. If players have not yet reached the checkpoint, they must play the cutscene again. And they can’t even skip a scene. It can be annoying to rewatch the cutscene if you can’t get to the breakpoint. In addition to this, several critics also called this decision to not allow cutscenes to be skipped a disappointment. In my opinion, it would be much better if you could skip cutscenes.

But with the upcoming Battle Pass and DLC Expansions coming next year, developers may rethink that decision. If this happens, we will be sure to update this guide. In the meantime, you can check out our guide to survival tips and combat basics to stay alive longer.
