Pixar has released the trailer for Elemental.
Directed by Peter Son (The Good Dinosaur, Partly Cloudy) and produced by Denise Rome (Cars 2, Up), Pixar’s Elemental accompanies the unlikely couple, Amber and Wade, played by Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Ati, respectively, to the city where the inhabitants are fire, water, earth and air. A brave young lady and a resourceful guy are about to find out something important, namely, how much they have in common.

Director Peter Sohn said:
My parents immigrated from Korea in the early 1970s and built a bustling grocery store in the Bronx. We were one of many families who set off to a new country with hopes and dreams – we were all mingled in a big salad bowl of cultures, languages and beautiful little neighborhoods. That’s what brought me to Elemental. Our story is based on the classical elements – fire, water, earth and air. Some elements blend with each other, others do not. What if these elements were alive?
Elemental will air on June 16, 2023 in the US. A release date in France has not yet been announced.
